Habitats
Streamside Willows
In most places in the mountains above about 8,500 feet, riparian habitats are dominated by various species of willow (Salix sp.)--usually low-growing varieties which form dense thickets. These willow tangles are home to many birds, including Willow Flycatcher, Wilson's and MacGillivray's Warblers, and Lincoln's, White-crowned and Fox Sparrows.
